What we collect
If you submit the quote form we collect your name, phone number, email address, postcode and whatever you write in the message. If you call us we keep a record of the call and the job. That is all — we do not buy or enrich data about you from anywhere else.
Why we collect it, and our lawful basis
To respond to your enquiry, quote for the work, carry it out, and keep the records we are legally required to keep. The lawful basis is legitimate interests (responding to an enquiry you initiated) and, once you engage us, performance of a contract. We do not use your details for marketing and we do not send newsletters.
Who we share it with
Nobody, other than where it is necessary to do the job — for example, submitting a tree works application to your local council, or providing a report to your insurer at your request. We never sell data.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become jobs: 12 months. Completed jobs: six years, which is the limitation period for contract claims and matches HMRC record-keeping requirements.

Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we use it. Email info@leicestertreesurgeons.com and we will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
